Not a book with charts!

I bought this book because I love Gerda Bengston's botanic designs of flowers like the one at the front. I expected there to be charts of such designs in the book, but there are not!!! The book is not designed to provide charts, but to explain how ms Bengston made hers and how you can make your own.Sub-chapters have names as: "How my goosberry cusion came to be made" and the introduction says: "Since I have been asked to give some account of activities during the past thirty years and to explain how I achieved my results, a few notes on my background would seem to be appropriate". That is exactly what the book does.The first half of the book shows pictures of designs by ms Bengston- most of them in black and white. No charts! The second half is devided into a section with a lengthy explanation on how to draw your own charts. The other part pays attention to how to make designs for other sticthes than cross-stitch. This part actually gives some designs you can use.If you are looking for a book with designs from Gerda Bengston, please, don't buy this book! It's bound to disappoint you. This is a black and white picture book...
